If you've had a moment to read the Resident DJ Skippy News on the home page, don’t be alarmed, DJ Viktor is one of our visiting DJ’s. He fills in when DJ Skippy is busy entertaining international guests. Personally, I hope Viktor’s DJ pages will become part of the regular pages here at DTR. We do strive for versatility and harmony.
Yes, I stole the word harmony from the Chinese. How could I not? It was all over the opening ceremonies. We had a wonderful evening at Casa de Chachone, taking in the Olympic spectacle and enjoying Italian food made from scratch by our honored international, not-to-be-named guest. After shopping across Los Angeles, our honored guest finally found the remaining specialty items at a Santa Monica Italian grocery. The end result – a meal perfectly prepared and beautifully arranged on the dinning table.
Speaking of special guests, our next celebrity visitor arrives in just days and Downtown Repalone staff is rushing to and fro, preparing for the VIP private event welcoming Donna and her retinue. Proprietor Repalone will host a traditional steak BBQ dinner followed by s’mores at the fire pit. The Magical Velvet Pig will be on hand to hold down the napkins should any of the Hoosiers blow some hot air. Karen will be contacting guests with details.
