Monday night, Downtown Repalone was honored to welcome a special European guest. Due to her role as a District Attorney with one of the EU governments, we cannot name names. Suffice it to say, Key Holders had a wonderful evening discussing European politics and being regaled with true tales of crime scene investigative adventures and criminal stupidity.
At the Covered Wagon BBQ facility, Proprietor Repalone plied us with Kielbasa and perfectly grilled boneless chicken breasts. A selection of salads rounded-out the meal. For dessert, we returned to our childhoods, happily digging into chocolate and vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, nuts, syrup and cherries.
On Friday, our honored guest will treat us to a homemade dinner at Casa de Chachone. Following the feast, we’ll all sit down to watch the Olympic Opening ceremonies. In honor of American athletes and American drinking games, I’d like to suggest we each take a shot anytime we see an American Flag in the stadium. Cheers!
