News of a possible visit has spread throughout the organization. In our Test Kitchens, Mark has set to work developing several dishes featuring seafood ingredients from New York’s coastline. Compiling an exhaustive New York wineries list, Surly Bartender Chris plans to taste and select three wines to add to the bar’s top shelf. As I write, DJ Skippy is in the studio putting together his next mix which is sure to feature New York City’s hot performers and DJ’s. Pinky decided she should be the one to personally invite Shirley Jones and has left four messages with Ms. Jones’ assistant. Executive Chef Karl just ordered new tableware, china and chaffing dishes, all sporting the Police Department’s insignia. Gregg is designing new postcards with a Police theme and has ordered VIP Membership passes for our VIP guests. Proprietor John is contemplating a cast member dress code change that involves kilts and bagpipes but several practical issues have been raised about this and it’s likely that only Karen will be required to wear a kilt during the VIP visit.
