Having a housemate who is a remarkable chef, I am delighted to have the responsibility of testing and tasting many of the recipes which will appear in Downtown Repalone's first cookery book. The collection promises to offer a wide variety of recipes including Americana casseroles and entrees, easy-to-pair with beer appetizers, annual Christmas party favorite desserts, and of course the signature drink recipes served at the bar.
How can you get involved before the book is published? Throw you cupboards wide open and pull out all the drawers! First, we're still collecting recipes for both food and drink items and you are welcome to submit your favorite recipes. You are also invited to help us test the recipes. Every two weeks we'll publish a new recipe with easy-to-follow directions and drink recommendations. Test the recipes and send us your notes and comments. You'll find our first recipe on the cuisine page. If you want regular updates, I'll be noting them here on the blog, so subscribe to the Downtown Repalone news feed.
