This past weekend, the head of our DTR Global Explorations Division took a solo trip to Idyllwild. In search of a great location for DTR’s upcoming company retreat, Anne spent several hours scouting the mountainous back country. An unexpected tiredness (perhaps too much beer) forced her to bivvy on a porta-ledge secured to a granite rock face. This photo was snapped by the GlobalHopper rescue crew as they approached her location. After ensuring her safety, the crew treated her to a breakfast of blueberries and good strong coffee made in a glass vacuum coffee maker.
